  • Description: The train from Jutland arrives at Copenhagen Central Station and we follow a married couple visiting the sites in Copenhagen: Lurblæserne, City Hall and City Hall Square, Glyptoteket, Politigården, Christiansborg with the Marble Bridge, Tøjhusmuseet and the Royal Library, Christiansborg and Børsen, the Royal Theater, Nyhavn, Amalienborg, the king on his morning ride, Gefion fountain, Kastellet, Langelinie and the Little Mermaid, the free port, Nyboder, National Gallery, Thorvaldsen's Museum, Botanical Garden, Ørstedsparken, Frederiksberg Garden, Vor Frelser Kirke with 400 steps up the tower, a panorama over the city's many spires, Søpavillonen, Boulevardbanen, Vesterport, Gl. Strand, the little gardens on Pileallé. Sport and life in the capital: KB-Hallen, Bellevue Beach. Tivoli - also by night. Klampenborg: the station, Bellevue Theatre, Øresund in winter, a family in their summer house "Solhytten/The Sun Cabin". The icy winter 1939-40 with images from the lakes, where a car race took place.
